A year isn’t quite up yet. But, I’m doing a more than mid way point check. I wrote a list about the qualities I’d like some day in a man. I’m not ready for the man yet, but I’m going over my list to see how it’s changed. So, I’m going to put up the list again and add my revisions.

• Integrity Definitely still want this one
• Sense of Humor This one is NEVER going to leave the list
• Intelligent I need to be able to talk to him
• Accomplished in career I’m not concerned what the career, just as long as he is stable
• Brings to the table as much as I do… emotionally and spiritually Meh, this one can stay
• Financially Stable (Great income, Low debt, Good credit, Solid retirement plan in place) Doesn’t have to be rich
• Loves to travel (long vacations & weekend getaways) stays
• Not overly critical of others stays
• Well read as long as he’s smart and I can talk to him, I could care less what he reads
• Great Kisser stays
• Good in Bed stays
• Values his Nuclear Family stays
• Not negative about my relationship with my family stays, But this is relationship, not man qualities
• Great with children stays
• Loves animals stays
• Loves to dance (or at least willing to dance occasionally) not so important
• Nice dresser as long as he isn’t filthy and can match ok, we’re good
• Helpful stays
• Foodie not important
• Music lover nice, but not important
• No children or his children are over 18 years of age, no children drama as long as kids aren’t murdering people, we’re good
• Wise this one could use some refining
• Pampers, dotes on, appreciates and respects me and why would I get rid of this one? But this is relationship, not man qualities
• Supportive of my writing stays, But this is relationship, not man qualities
• Down to earth, not snobby stays
• Helps around the house stays
• No problems with alcohol, drugs current or past stays
• Good looking, well-groomed stays
• Wildly attracted to me stays, But this is relationship, not man qualities
• Maintains a healthy weight stays
• Enjoys spending time with me stays, But this is relationship, not man qualities
• Has strong network of friends who also have integrity & share our core values I want him to have his guy time

Are there things I’d add? Yeah probably. Some of this though is what I want in a relationship, not necessarily what I’d know up front about a guy. So, the list might need work. I’ve got time to figure it out.
