Sofa Dreams

Soon (knocking on wood), I’ll have my own place. And then (knocking even harder on wood), I’ll get to decorate. I don’t even know how I want to decorate. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to do anything with only my tastes in mind. And now? Now, I don’t even know what those tastes are.

I do have most of the furniture I’ll need but there are a few things left to get. I have a futon mattress but no futons in sight. So – I’ve thought it would be cool to pick out sleeper sofas for guests. Or, convert a futon into a bed for  movie parties in the living room with the kids.

Maybe the first store I visit will be to check out convertible sofas. Or, maybe I’ll visit the washing machines first but I look forward to that part of my new life.
