DirectTV to the Rescue
It’s been eight months since we moved into the new house. Since the move, my life has changed more than I could’ve imagined. And, it would seem, within the next four months we could possibly move again. Moving is a hassle. And moving here was a HUGE hassle. We had issues with the cable company when we tried to connect our tv & internet service. Apparently, the previous tenant left a bill over $1000 unpaid.
So, without jumping through hoops, they didn’t want to give us service. At first we were told to simply fax the rental agreement to their office. We did that. The day for service to be turned on came and went. When no one showed up, we called. They told us the rental agreement wouldn’t be enough. (Thanks for letting us wait a week to find out.) We needed to come down to their office & show proof of identity along with the rental agreement.
Ok. A pain in the butt yet simple enough. One thing though. The customer service rep told us she couldn’t tell us where the local office was located. I couldn’t find the information on the internet either. So, after a frustrating two weeks without internet or tv, I turned to DirectTV.
I signed up for service online. They came the very next day, set up our service and had us up and running in no time. It was the easiest and best decision made during the whole move. And eight months later, I’m still very satisified.
They have a new promotion, NFL Sunday Ticket. The NFL Sunday Ticket features like NFL Enhanced games, Highlights-on-Demand and Player Tracker. With the NFL Sunday Ticket Schedule, you can watch your favorite team regardless of where they are playing.
I don’t live in the same city, or area, of my favorite team (The Bears). The thought of being able to watch their games anywhere they play sounds very tempting. I’ve also considered upgrading to the DirectTV TiVo package option. The NFL Sunday Ticket package seems reasonable for all it offers. What really appeals to me is the idea of getting HBO for five months free with the package.
Gives me something to think about…. This year it’d be cool to follow my favorite team all the way.
What’s your favorite team?
Welcome back!
