Thanks for all your additions! I've really really enjoyed reading your 10 for Tuesday comments and have enjoyed writing you by email.

We both could use a friend now - even halfway across the world!

Thanks so much for coming by....

1) I had my first "kiss" with my cousin Ruben. We were seven years old and we saw his older sister kissing her boyfriend and just wanted to know how a kiss would feel. Result: We hated it.

2) My desk at work looks totally clean, but my drawers are totally messy.

3) I love to draw caricatures of my boss. Only my best friend (and my husband) have seen them.

4) I had a short affair with one of my colleagues (he was single, I was single) because I was sad after me and my husband split.

5) Speaking of splitting from my husband: I still wear my wedding ring. ("Never give up hope" or "pure desperation")

6) I celebrated my 30th birthday in Atlantic City.

7) On my "stag night" (yeah, my husband had one and my friends made one for me, too) I danced on a table in a bar and started stripping. It was fun - but the morning after I was a little bit ashamed.

8) I never wanted to give up my maiden name (Landuyt) . Now I love my last name (Patterson)- it's easier to spell in foreign countries :-)

9) My middle name is "Marie" (after my grandmother).

10) I started reading when I was three but in maths I was a big, big loser.
