None of my ‘real world’ friends understand my passion for twitter and none of my family are really on twitter much either. Sorry mom, but I don’t think I’d want you to ‘follow me’ on twitter anyhow. That would almost be like you hanging out with me at a bar. I just don’t think it would work.

The real joy of Twitter isn’t tweeting about how I’m eating a banana or taking a dump (yeah, I’ve never ‘gone there’ on twitter though some I know feel compelled to share this way) it’s about connections. Twitter is like a huge neighborhood pub. Everyone knows everyone, mostly, and it’s a great place to network, make friends, learn new things, find advice or just have a good laugh.

The quality of talent and opportunities on twitter are beyond amazing. My experience with life coaching came about by a connection made with Jennifer Priest  on twitter. I never even knew I would have such a passion for fitness and exercise until meeting @gethoneycutt and I’ve met many writers, artists and other creative types. 

What’s really great though is the banter, the human connection, the laughter that breaks up the day. The following is a convo (twitterspeak for conversation) I had with author, Jon F.
