1) I had a tonsillectomy in 1998. It hurts much - I was ill about 4 weeks.

2) My grandmother comes from the Netherlands but lives with my parents now in Middelkerke, Belgium

3) I knocked around a boy when I was ten (he was eleven). He deserved it - he teased my younger cousin badly

4) When I'm sad because of a man, I cut or dye my hair - and am not happy with the result most times

5) I love to sit on my terrace and watch the full moon (but I don't howl at him)

6) I work as a secretary

7) I studied literature for a while.

8) I love big bouquets

9) I need lots of coffee in the morning

10) I hate my boss. I live the "The devil wears prada" story sometimes.

Purple hair sounds good too! Wouldn't that be a funny blogging trend, instead of posting each day for a month, die your hair unusual colors month....

Thanks (about the lists) - I think it's fun & I enjoy reading things everyone shares. It's almost like a cyber version of truth or dare...

I wish I hadn't changed my name when I got married - now I'm waiting for the divorce to be final so I can change it back. Woodbridge is my own name.

And I'm really sorry about your dog - that is such an unnecessarily mean thing to do - to you and the dog.

I've always wanted to die my hair purple. It's so short right now that it wouldn't take long to grow it out if I hated it. I bet my employer wouldn't even bat an eye.

I like your lists - they make me think about unusual things about myself.

You know - I actually tried to pierce my nose when I was 17 with a nail. (God, we just don't have any brains at that age, do we?)

I chickened out because it started hurting too much before I even pierced the skin . :)

That's cool you'd dye your hair for your friends daughter. I like that attitude.

Go for the nose ring... and then let me know how it works when you've got a cold. ;)

I won't give you ten things but here's one:

I dyed my bangs fuschia pink a couple of years ago. Had it professionally done. Loved it because it was fun and completely out of character for me. I did it as a joke because one of my good friends had a teenage daughter who dyed all her entire head of hair baby pink on a visit to see me. My friend, being very straight laced, was horrified. So when I went back to visit them, I dyed my bangs in solidarity with her teenage daughter. Seeing every one's response was the completely entertaining. Unfortunately, some one close passed away while I was there, so I chose to change the color to attend the funeral... otherwise I would have loved to watch the fuschia grow out!
