Join Other Bloggers in Promoting Great Content

As someone relatively new to the blogging world, I’m very interested in not only promoting my own blog but finding great blogs that inspire, entertain or inform me.

So when I saw a tweet from WriterDad about a way to help new bloggers, I was all over it.

In ‘How You Can Help End the Problem of Blogs with Great Content and No Readers’, Chuck proposes a method to supporting new/great/obscure blogs that haven’t found a following while helping everyone else in the process. It’s a great idea and I encourage you to check it out and join up.

Thanks for coming by! I signed up yesterday – I think it’s a pretty good idea.

It’s a wonderfully elegant idea. One of those where you hear it and think, why did it take so long to think of that… kind of like a Beatles song, but not as catchy.

That is a great way to put it. I’ve enjoyed your blog, by the way. Stumbled on it by someone I follow on twitter sending a tweet about you. It’s a lot of fun how the blogging community flows and Chuck’s idea is another extension of this. Most I’ve ‘met’ are very nice, supportive folks.

i’m still in the process of making my blog, but I joined Chuck Westbrook’s list. Let’s keep the train running.

Good luck on your blog, Eric. I consider mine a work in progress. I’m continually fine-tuning it, finding what works or doesn’t work and sort of letting it morph into whatever it will eventually become.

I just wanted to touch base to say that I am so glad you took the plunge ‘ala Joe’ and informed your readers of Chucks idea. You see, I am presently a reader only of blogs, and signed up for yours on pure happenstance and random picking. I was looking to read some blogs of merit, and thought I would sample a few as I found my way. Now, thanks to you spreading the word, I have access to a purposeful group with this same intention of finding good content. Shall continue to read your posts with interest, and look forward to the new ones along the way. ~T~
