Carville Tears Into Palin
I don’t even pretend to know the Rep. Congresswoman on the show and perhaps it’s just bad lighting, but am I the only one to feel her eyes were just a little too wide open with a vapid stare? I felt like I was looking at a puppet reading scripted lines rather than a human being speaking their own free will and opinion. Did you notice she never answered Larry King’s question about whether she actually thought Palin was the most qualified candidate McCain could have picked? Of course she didn’t because the answer is no! And then to accuse him of sexism when he said she was supremely unqualified?? What? God, even Kay Bailey Hutchison would have been a better pick than Palin.
Honestly, I feel like I’m experiencing some absurd, parallel reality. It’s so strange to hear everything we’ve seen and heard surrounding Palin and the extent of thought to which McCain chose in picking her. I keep waiting for someone to say it’s just a joke or for the Republican party to get mad at him for doing this. But I feel like they are swallowing the fact the emperor has no clothes….
Oh, and the part about Palin selling a plane on Ebay in regards to her qualifications?
I’ve bought stuff on ebay, maybe that makes me qualified to run for Senate and serve on the Ways & Means committee.
Welcome back!
