To the Gulf Coast

My thoughts and prayers go to the many people of the Gulf Coast region. I hope the levees hold and damage is minimal.

From all news reports, it appears the majority of residents are evacuating. My mom said the hospital in Texarkana is filling up with people being flown in from NO.

I wonder why we don’t do more to regulate what comes to us from China? It seems like the last year of recalls has been primarily from that one country. Am I the only one that things something smells in Denmark? (Or, should I say China?)

I’m Tired of Hearing You Bi….

Yes, I nearly said that to my children this morning. Gawd! Lack of sleep has really been building since my 3 yr old has been running fever.

 And yes, I was literally tired of hearing them bitch back and forth to each other, but thankfully, I didn’t actually say that to them. It sounded more like ‘I’m tired you hearing you bi…gripe’.

Sigh. It’s been a rough week. I wish I had a friend that could come over.

If you haven’t heard, many plastics, including baby bottles and sippy cups, contain BPA, a chemical that can cause cancer, type 2 diabetes, early onset of puberty, obesity and a host of other maladies.
