I’ll be back….

Thank you for those who have sent condolences to me and my family. It’s always rough to lose someone. My heart goes out to my Dad and Step-mom and sister - they have lost a son and brother and regardless of how or why it is always hard.

I’ll be gone to attend the funeral and then will travel on to Texas to visit my mom who is in the hospital herself.

When I come back, I’ll be back full-force. For now, I am going to focus on family because that is the most important thing in life.

 For now - Tawnya

Randy Pausch, Last Lecture Professor, Dies at 47

Randy Pausch, famous for his ‘Last Lecture’ video on youtube and the subsequent book, died Friday.

He was an inspiration for living life for what is most important. I feel very sad for his wife and three children that have to carry on without him.

I think it would help to take a break and celebrate my children with a little playtime now.

I would never use it. My momma taught me better. In fact, my introduction to ‘the word’ was in about 2nd grade when my little sister came home and repeated it. (She heard it on the playground). My mom took us both aside and told us in her most serious voice that if she ever, ever heard us use that word or call anyone that word, she would slap us clear into tomorrow.

That was enough for me. In fact, I prefer the ‘f’ word to ‘the word’ and would much rather hear it any day of the week. Any vulgar word, actually, Read more »
